The Göteborgs Symfoniker, also known as the Gothenburg Symphony, is a Swedish orchestra based in Gothenburg. Formed in the late 19th century, the orchestra has a rich history spanning over a century. It all began in 1909 when the orchestra was established as a part of the Gothenburg Opera, and over the years, it has grown to become one of the most prominent orchestras in Sweden.
